Did Rafter M Hat Company close?
No — we just expanded! Rafter M Hat Company is now Moon Ridge Company. We are the exact same team with a new name and even more premium brands. Our experts have shaped thousands of hats and continue to provide the same precision craftsmanship you have come to trust.
Is your location the same?
Yes. You can find us at the same Fayetteville showroom: 2218 N College Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72703.
Shopping with us
Do I need an appointment to visit?
We love making sure we have time to help you find your perfect hat or pair of boots. Walk-ins are always welcome. Booking an appointment is the best way to have the full Moon Ridge Hat Experience with us.
Can I bring in a hat I didn't buy there to get worked on?
Of course! We love working on all hats and tuning up heritage pieces you have had for a while. We charge $35 for professional cleaning and reshaping.
Do you ship hats?
Yes — we ship to addresses within the United States. Shipping options appear at checkout, and we pack hats carefully so they arrive ready to wear.
Do you ship outside the United States?
No — we ship within the US only.
How do I find my hat size?
Visit us in Fayetteville for an in-person fitting, or use the sizing resources on each hat product page. You can also book a virtual consultation for one-on-one help.
How can I confirm an item is in stock?
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit and debit cards, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and cash. Online, use the payment options shown at checkout; in store, we can take cards, Apple Pay, and cash at the register.
Gift cards
Can I buy or use a gift card online and in store?
Yes. You can purchase a gift card online or in store, and gift cards can be redeemed both ways as well. Online gift cards can be printed at home. In-store purchases include a branded plastic card and envelope. If you would like us to mail you a physical card, reach out by email or phone and we can arrange it.
Do you price-match other websites or stores?
Most of the time, no. Many of our products use minimum advertised price (MAP) rules from the brand, so we sell them at the price the brand sets.

Do you offer military or first responder discounts?
Yes — we offer a 10% discount for military and first responders. Thank you for your service! Show valid ID at checkout in store, or email info@moonridgecompany.com before you place an online order so we can help apply it.
In-store services
Do you offer hat cleaning and reshaping in store?
Yes — we offer both hat cleaning and reshaping in store. We perform cleaning and shaping work Thursday through Saturday, and most hats are back with you within a couple of days.
Monday through Wednesday, you can still drop off your hat at the shop — our team is always able to check it in for you. We then get right to work on it Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Brands & authenticity
Are your products authentic?
Everything we sell is 100% authentic. We are authorized retailers for Stetson, Resistol, Lucchese, Pendleton, and many other brands. We value our relationships with our suppliers — they trust us, and we trust them.
Private events & parties
Do you host private events or hat parties?
We love private events — both in our store and off-site. We host weddings, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and corporate events for groups from about 10 up to 500.
We also host special get-togethers in the shop for 10 guests or fewer — perfect for birthdays and other celebrations.
