A hat gets custom fitted for you here, not handed to you off the shelf. Then we add the personal touches you and our hat designers choose together.
Start with a cowboy hat or a city dress hat. Add ribbon, feathers, playing cards, leather. We keep a whole wall of trim to pick from — and a deep selection of hat bands, including leather bands made right here in Northwest Arkansas.

We fit you first
Your designer measures and fits your head before anything else. Crown shape and brim width come out of that — not the other way around.

Then we shape it
The crown gets creased to your head shape and the brim set to your preference, on the steamer, while you watch it happen.

Then you finish it
Ribbon, feathers, playing cards, leather. A whole wall of trim to pick from, plus hat bands made right here in Northwest Arkansas.
Designers in
Thursday through Saturday. Walk in and sit down — no appointment needed.
Booking
A Free Hat Experience gets you undivided attention and a designer who isn't watching the door.
Shaping
Complimentary in store on any hat you buy from us. Thirty-five dollars if you bring one in from somewhere else — and we're glad you brought it.
Events
We'll bring the bar to you. Weddings, corporate events, private parties — eight guests to two hundred and fifty.
A hat bar, not a hat counter
You work alongside a trained hat designer who fits you first, then shapes the crown to your head shape and adjusts the brim to your preference. That's the difference between a custom hat bar and a hat counter. It's not a service you get after you buy — it's the reason you buy here.
We don't want to be confused with a trucker patch hat bar. That's a blank trucker hat and a large selection of patches, pressed right in front of your eyes. We love their craft — it's just a very different one from ours.
The brands we start with
We're particular about what goes on our shelves. Stetson and Resistol were there day one, and they're still our favorites.
We've grown to love several others since — Charlie 1 Horse, Bigalli, Goorin Bros., and Dobbs. They aren't all cowboy hats, and that's the point. The job hasn't changed — find you the absolute best quality at the price point you're looking for.
We went and learned it from third-generation hat shapers
We were the first in Arkansas to train in person under Glenn and Parker Orms at Hat Masters in Denver. The coursework came first. Then days on the steamers, shaping hat after hat.
We came home certified, and we've shaped thousands of hats since.
