The Midtown is Stetson's flat-brim read on a western hat. The brim runs wide and dead flat — no roll at the edge — so the profile stays sharp and the shade it throws is real. A teardrop crown softens the lines where the flat brim runs hard, and the whole thing stays quiet: felt body, slim hatband, nothing shouting.

Take a tape measure (a sewing tape measure works best, but not required).
Rest the tape approximately two fingers above your brow (about 1½") and about ⅛" above the ear. Right where the hat band would normally sit.
Tape should be firm but not tight. It should wrap straight across your mid-forehead.
Make sure it stays level all the way around your head (not dipping down behind your ears).

If you are in between sizes, go with the bigger size.

Under the brim, we brand them side by side. On the crown, we stack and stagger them.
