Stetson Portage
4X buffalo felt with a cattleman crease and a generous brim. The Portage is a working western shape with better finish than it strictly needs: the band is twisted leather and hair with a Stetson pin set into it, and the inside is satin lined over a bonded leather sweatband.

Take a tape measure (a sewing tape measure works best, but not required).
Rest the tape approximately two fingers above your brow (about 1½") and about ⅛" above the ear. Right where the hat band would normally sit.
Tape should be firm but not tight. It should wrap straight across your mid-forehead.
Make sure it stays level all the way around your head (not dipping down behind your ears).
Check the sizing chart below.
If you are in between sizes, go with the bigger size.

How do you arrange the letters?
Under the brim, we brand them side by side. On the crown, we stack and stagger them.
Available in stone and black. Our shapers are in Thursday through Saturday if you want the crease set to your own head, complimentary on hats bought with us in the shop.
