Take a tape measure (a sewing tape measure works best, but not required).

Rest the tape approximately two fingers above your brow (about 1½") and about ⅛" above the ear. Right where the hat band would normally sit.

Tape should be firm but not tight. It should wrap straight across your mid-forehead.

Make sure it stays level all the way around your head (not dipping down behind your ears).

Check the sizing chart below.

If you are in between sizes, go with the bigger size.

Handmade in the USA from 4X quality buffalo felt, built to hold up to weather and wear. The Broken Bow carries a sloped Gus crown with a cattleman crease — 4" tall, 5" across — and a 4 3/8" brim. A leather band with antique brass-tone studs and a side tie sets the rugged line, finished with a removable turkey feather. Inside, a genuine leather sweatband and a full satin liner keep the fit secure and comfortable.
