Take a tape measure (a sewing tape measure works best, but not required).
Rest the tape approximately two fingers above your brow (about 1½") and about ⅛" above the ear. Right where the hat band would normally sit.
Tape should be firm but not tight. It should wrap straight across your mid-forehead.
Make sure it stays level all the way around your head (not dipping down behind your ears).
Check the sizing chart below.
If you are in between sizes, go with the bigger size.

Palm leaf is the working straw. Midweight, stiff enough to keep its shape, honest about what it is for. The Chambers is 100% palm leaf with three ventilation eyelets cut into the crown, so air moves before the sweat does. The leather band with stud accents is the one dressed-up thing on the hat, and it sits well against the coarse weave. Everything else is built for sun and long hours. Wear it hard. That is what palm leaf is for.
