See the video below for a step-by-step guide.
Take a tape measure (a sewing tape measure works best, but not required).
Rest the tape approximately two fingers above your brow (about 1½") and about ⅛" above the ear. Right where the hat band would normally sit.
Tape should be firm but not tight. It should wrap straight across your mid-forehead.
Make sure it stays level all the way around your head (not dipping down behind your ears).
Check the sizing chart below.
If you are in between sizes, go with the bigger size.
We include sizers with every purchase that will help you make a hat that's a little too big fit.

Why only two letters?
We just think it looks classier. We have branded hundreds if not thousands of hats, and we think two letters gives it a really classy look.
How do you arrange the letters?
Under the brim, we brand them side by side. On the crown, we stack and stagger them.
A first real cowboy hat, built the way the grown-up ones are built. The 100% wool felt takes the knocks a kid puts on a hat and keeps its shape through them, and the full Western brim handles the sun at a fair or a rodeo. An elastic sweatband inside fits most head sizes up to 54cm, so it stays on through a long afternoon outside. Nothing about it is a costume. It is a small hat made honestly.
